At Angels Boxing Academy, we believe in the power of boxing to transform lives and build resilient communities. Our commitment to empowering youth drives us to provide high-quality boxing training and free programs that extend far beyond the ring.

At Angels Boxing Academy, we believe in the power of boxing to transform lives and build resilient communities. Our commitment to empowering youth drives us to provide high-quality boxing training and free programs that extend far beyond the ring.
Through initiatives like "Let's Get Down to Boxing," we offer free classes tailored for kids with Down syndrome, ensuring inclusivity in the sport. We also honor our veterans by providing complimentary boxing training to those who have bravely served, recognizing the importance of physical and mental well-being.
However, we know that while boxing can open doors, education unlocks lasting opportunities. That’s why we proudly offer boxing scholarships and college scholarships to both our members and the broader community, helping students pursue trade programs, two-year colleges, or four-year universities. Additionally, our free chess program fosters critical thinking, strategic planning, and healthy competition, equipping young minds with skills that go beyond physical training.
Beyond the Ring: Advocacy and Systemic Change
Our mission extends beyond sports and education—we are deeply committed to community advocacy, youth leadership development, and systemic change. Through initiatives like “Guns Down, Gloves Up” and “Knockout Violence: Gloves Up for Education,” we engage in violence prevention advocacy, addressing the root causes of youth violence, particularly gun violence, which disproportionately affects marginalized communities.
We collaborate with local organizations, schools, and community leaders to advocate for equitable education policies and increased resources for underserved youth. Our team actively participates in community forums, policy discussions, and public awareness campaigns centered on education reform, youth mental health, and violence reduction.
Additionally, we are developing a youth leadership program focused on civic engagement, political education, and grassroots organizing. This initiative will train young participants to advocate for policy changes within their schools and communities, ensuring that their voices drive meaningful change.
While our direct services provide immediate support, they also serve as a platform to educate, organize, and mobilize youth in the fight against systemic inequality. We welcome opportunities to partner with organizations and funders who share our vision of empowerment, education, and advocacy—because together, we can build a future where every young person has the tools to succeed inside and outside the gym.

Through our program, kids will learn the essentials of boxing, including proper technique, footwork, and conditioning. More importantly, they will cultivate discipline, focus, and perseverance—qualities that will benefit them in all areas of life, both inside and outside the ring.
